Description

My view on a troublesome topic that I find to be the Western world's most shameful fact: wealthy nations exploiting poor nations.

Good interpretation of the subject - did you read the book (Naomi Klein: NoLogo)? However, I was a bit disappointed about the effect of the logos. Maybe the idea would've been better conveyed if they had been bulky and strong, like they could roll over and crush the poor woman doing the jeans... :). Or just loom on the side in formidable size. Though, there is nothing wrong with this caricature-like approach! Again, when style is concerned, superb work!

wow...thanks guys!
it's been a little while since I added some work to the site and the response on this one has been great.
i really appreciate the feedback.
jounis - it would've been nice to see the piece with the logos more overbearing now that I think about it.. it's a great idea. I read No Logo actually after painting this piece, but it didn't have a name yet so I borrowed it from the book as the painting and the book share the same theme.

This is a +5 for sure. It really does interprate how pitiful the world is becoming. selling clothes and such for high prices just because of a name or logo.
